The Art of Craftsmanship

A small inner wedge has been inserted between the heel and the insole to elevate the back of the sandal. This provides comfort and a bit of a lift. There is also a thin rubber anti-slip heel under the leather sole. All uppers have raw edges, the different straps and pieces joined together mostly with platinum rivets.

Founded by Christina Martini and Nikolas Minoglou, Ancient Greek Sandals reinterprets traditional Greek craftsmanship through a contemporary lens. Before co-founding the brand, Christina worked as a footwear designer for Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton, bringing luxury design expertise to a heritage craft. Designed with care and handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail, each piece balances authenticity, functionality and modern elegance.
